A wider fairway allows the golfer a little more room for error off the tee. The left fairway bunker will come into play for longer hitters, so the right side of the fairway is favorable. The shape and angle of the green also favor an approach from the right. It’s a two tier green. The front tier slopes right to left toward the bunker.
