The third hole is your first chance at making a birdie on a par 5. The better play is to favor the right side of the fairway, avoiding the fairway bunker left. This risk/reward for long hitters provides the opportunity to go for the green in two. Watch out right, as anything that comes up short will land in the waste bunker. Those who are conservative will most likely hit a hybrid or long iron, setting up for an up-the-hill approach.
