The par 4 eighth provides an excellent opportunity to regain a stroke that may have been lost early in the round. Off the tee, a fairway bunker on the right side is the only thing stopping a birdie. With some hidden fairway room on the left side, a player is left with no more than 150 yards into a generous green complex. A severe false-front will throw back any weak shots that don’t have enough distance to carry to the main level.
