The opening hole at Sand Valley is a short Par 4. The best angle to attack this green is from the right side of the fairway. A well-placed drive off the tee will leave you with a short-iron or wedge into the green. The approach shot is all about distance control. The green features two distinct tiers with mounding throughout, so finding the correct tier will ensure the best chance for an opening birdie.
