A forced cary of 130-170 yards over a deep ravine makes this a difficult driving hole. A strategic bunker placed on the inside of the first dogleg invites the golfer to cut off as much as they choose. It is possible for the longer hitters to carry the bunker and get home in two, but the safe play is to the left of the bunker. Most golfers will be required to lay up on their second shot, which will bring three very big fairway bunkers on the left into play. The green has a huge valley running through the middle, so be sure to get the ball on the same level as the pin, otherwise, three putts are likely.
