Hole 1, Par 4

The Donald Ross Course at French Lick opens with a straightaway par 4. The perfect tee shot on this hole is one placed in the left center of the fairway. The downhill sloping fairway will most likely produce uneven lies. The approach is slightly uphill to a green protected by two large bunkers. Beware of the right side, deep face bunker.
