Hole 7, Par 5

The seventh hole is the first of two par fives on the Donald Ross course. A tee shot aimed at the right edge of the first fairway bunker is premium. Out of bounds lines the entire left side of the hole, so staying out to the right on the second shot is the safe play. The green is protected by a bunker in the front and back, placing a premium on distance control during the approach.
